  Detergent filler replcement 01 July 2015

  The item arrived on time and was fitted the same day. A bit of a fiddle to fit it but now we don't have a leaking rinse aid reservoir. Would recommend spares to my friends and family.

  At first glance looks exactly the same as the original, however when fitting the clip dimensions for the dispenser are slightly different making it slighly difficult to fit. Got there eventually.

  replacing unit using video guid 05 November 2014

  Video was great. Should advise to remember which way the 2 wires on one side of the unit are fitted so get same position when reconnecting. Also my unit had 3 wires, one on the opposite side to the other 2. To remove the metal clips 3 at top 3 at bottom and one each side I did the top 3 first with an extra hand from my wife who using knives lifted each clip together and pushed first top then each side and finally bottom. Bit fiddly but be positive it won't break. Again use a bit of muscle to push back in until all clips engage. Job done and working well. Much cheaper than new dishwasher.

  Better than buying a new dishwasher 12 October 2014

  Just the detergent lid was broken but made dishwasher next to useless. I'm suer it saved many pounds fitting it myself but it was difficult. Hard to release all the clips holding old one it all at once and even mordct to push new one far enough into door for clips to locate correct, even with use of some washing up liquid. But once in works fine and saved lots of money on getting someone to fix it. Youtube video was invaluable in showing how to do it.

  The product was of high quality and a genuine spare part. I have marked the value down one point because it is a poor design when you have to change the whole unit, for one broken plastic clip. There were no fitting instructions. Removal of the lower door section was easy. Then there were two plugs to unplug, so far so good. To remove the unit you have to release eight spring clips, at the same time and push the unit forward. This was not easy, having only two hands. Once out you just reverse the process. It was a hard push to get the new unit into place. After that it was a doddle, anyone could do it.

  not a good buy 10 August 2014

  All I needed was a tiny spring but was forced to buy the whole unit. I failed to fit it myself (I could find no instructions on the ESpares website so I was forced to pay someone £60 to fit it!
