See all above and below! 26 January 2023

Totally agree with the other reviews. This is a quality oem type replacement part that works perfectly when installed . However.... Trying to get the new part to seat correctly into the hole is a mission and a half. A lot of washing up liquid and one cut thumb later I gave up and asked my marine engineer son to rescue me. He, in effect, hit it hard with a rubber mallet and it went in :). Wish I'd had his extensive training. All works perfectly btw but this is not an endorsement for brute force and ignorance as a substitute for other methods.

Easily the most difficult DIY task I have ever attempted 24 April 2022

Other reviewers have mentions how incredibly hard it is to install this item. They aren't telling you the half of it - getting the old dispenser out is relatively easy if you have enough flat-head screwdrivers/scrapers/butterknives to prise all of the tabs open, but installing the new dispenser is basically impossible without an industrial dishwasher assembly plant. It's pretty clear from the design that Beko did not intend for this element to be user-serviceable - expect a long, arduous, stressful and quite possibly unsuccessful process of installation.

Saved me replacing old Beco dishwasher 26 October 2021

Part arrived and I followed video for fitting instructions. Looked at other reviews for advice. Took apart D/W door as per video finding a few extra screws. It was difficult to remove dispenser but with two thin strips of stiff plastic to hold back the tabs as I bent them back old dispenser popped out with a sharp tap! Getting the new one in properly is a pain even with lubricant on the seal. Small leak initially but able to fully seat the seal when the machine was hot. All now working OK and saved me £300.

Tricky to do! 20 November 2020

We try to ensure we buy original manufacturers parts when we replace broken components, but it doesn't always make it any easier unfortunately. As with many of the reviewers here, I watched the youtube video to make sure I was doing this the right way. But instead of having screws holding the dispenser in place, there are 4 pieces of bent metal holding the dispenser with little plastic clips. Because of what i'd read in the reviews on here I used some wide metal wallpaper scrapers to evenly prise the metal clips open to get the old dispenser out. No damage, no problem. However getting the new dispenser into place is stupidly hard. As other people have said the front door of the dishwasher is a very thin metal panel and we bent the panel slightly with the force of trying to push the dispenser into place. The rubber gasket just seems too thick. We currently have the dispenser held, rather messily in place by most of the clips. This is the fourth major element of the dishwasher to break, though we have had the dishwasher 7 years now. If anything else major breaks on it I think we'll be replacing the whole thing.

    15 mins - not really! 29 August 2020

I have a Beko dishwasher and it was actually quite difficult to get the box out - I had to put butter knives under each tab before it would come out. This also meant that it was difficult to get back in as the flanges slightly bent despite my best efforts. The first time I tried to snap the new box back in I got quite a nasty cut on my finger. I removed it and used pliers to rebend the metal flanges. Also, the door didn't come off quite as easily as it does on the Bosch in the video. I'm quite handy and found it a bit of a pain and it probably took me over an hour. I haven't tested it yet so am keeping my (cut) fingers crossed.

    PROBLEM SOLVED 13 July 2020

Internet search indicated that a dishwasher using vast amounts of rinse aid probably needs a new detergent and rinse aid dispenser. It was correct. Problem solved. Watch the installation video on YouTube first. It's amazing how much difference a little drop of washing up liquid can make. Caution! The door inner of a dishwasher is made of tin foil and creases if you press it too hard.

    Saved me ££££'S 12 March 2017

Good part which solved the problem. My only problem was pushing it hard enough to clip it into the door, even with washing up liquid on the seal it was very hard to get it right home. Without this problem the job would have taken 10/15 mins in the end more like 35 mins. The 'how to do it' video is very helpful !
