  BUT if you use economy seven as a power source and time your drying to happen overnight the balls clanking around in the drum keep you awake.

  Dryer Balls do work 28 August 2012

  I have been using dryer balls for sometime and really needed new ones. Those offered were of good quality and value. Ease of use? Well, just throw them in with the washing and let them work. Help to keep fabrics soft anf fluffy and save energy.

  These were less expensive with this company than high street shops. They are quite solid and will probabily outlast the tumble dryer. the only probLem Iis that they are very noisy banging around. They do soften to a certain degree but as yet I do not know if they create more wear and tear on the items.

  Do the job well, but can rattle in the drum 28 December 2011

  The dryer balls seem to work well, making the clothes softer and taking less time to dry. However, they can make a noise when they clatter around the drum. As mine is in the garage, this isn't too much of an issue, but would be if the dryer is in the house.

  Saw these for sale in a well respected High Street shop, but were at lower cost with espares. Once you get over the noise of the balls in the tumble dryer they seem to work ok.
