  The main comment about these fabric softening balls is they do rattle around the drum when not fully loaded. They do seem to work but what detrimental affect they MAY have on the fabrics only timewill tell

  Save money with this product 26 September 2014

  I saw these and decided to give them a go as it said they save money on quicker drying time, no need for fabric softener and made clothes softer. I have only used them three times up to present and this is my opinion on them. When the clothes are put into the dryer straight from the washer, hence, at their most dampest the balls make a noise as they rattle around. This only lasts for about half a minute and then becomes much quieter. I hadn't used any fabric conditioner and the clothes did take less time to dry, did feel soft when they came out and there appeared to be no static so in my opinion everything that it says on the instructions does work and I shall continue to use them.

  A good item that works well especially on towelling . The reason for 4 stars is because of the noise when in use , luckily my tumbler is in an outside garage but we can still hear them indoors .

  Good little extra 30 November 2012

  Used these before and they do help with the drying process. Not sure if they prevent washing getting tangled but worth using on balance. A bit noisy is the load is not full.

  Anything to reduce electricity bills 22 November 2012

  The two tumble drier balls were bought to try soften the towels in the drying stage and to save on electricity bills by reducing the drying time. I can see marginal improvement in both. Need long term trials to prove the case.
