    Picture of item clear so I knew what I was ordering. Reed switch popped out of the plastic holder ok so that it was easy to fit and fixed the E14 error code

fitting bosch reed switch for flow meter 2 Answers

Hello, How easy is this to fit? Do I have to take off the whole of the plastic water tank

  • We unclipped the small pcb shown in the diagram above from the heat exchanger using a screwdriver to prise it off. We then unclipped the pcb from the new spare part and clipped it into place on the heat exchanger. By JB - - 09 October 2016

    We are not sure but think the assembly can simply clip off the heat exchange without removing it.

Looked at your advice for error code e14 on my bosch dishwasher - ordered and fitted new reed filter but this has not solved the problem. Nearly £30 spent and no joy - any suggestions please? 1 Answer

    E14 on a bosch dishwasher refers to the flow meter and not the reed filter so check the flow meter.

I have just overed a flow meter and I am not sure how to remove the top cover without doing damage to clips etc, can you help please? 1 Answer

    We believe the top cover is removed by taking out the screws which are usually located at the front, drop the door down and they should be at the top then slide the top off and remove the side panel to get to the reed switch.

This seems to be the part to solve an e14 error. Do. You provide instructions to fit? 1 Answer

I've followed other comments and when it first happened a couple of weeks ago was able to solve it by taking off the connection and putting it back on. Now that's not solving the problem.

    We are sorry but do not have a video showing this. You can un-clip and transfer the pcb as this may resolve your problem.

Mis-sold item and I can't get a refund
I purchased a product that was advertised as in stock with a next day delivery service. This was false information. After I had paid and the delivery date had elapsed I had to contact the company who informed me that the items was not in stock and they could not offer next day delivery. I asked for a refund for the item and the delivery. and their response was "Although we will try our best to get the order cancelled there is a small chance it may still get dispatched, in which case we will provide a pre-paid label so you can send the item back to us free of charge." I am still chasing my refund.

Slightly disappointed
The fridge bottle shelf I'd ordered came very quickly but, when it arrived, I found a dark "scuff" mark on the front. I didn't have time to send it back and get a replacement so had to install it immediately and hope that the mark would come out later with a bit of Jif or similar. Disappointed, as I feel that whoever despatched it should have noticed the mark and sent me a different one.

Shelf for fridge/freezer

Hundreds of pounds saved!
