Blender Ridged Sealing Ring - Pack of 3

Has your blender's seal broken after years of usage? This pack of three ridged sealing rings may just be what you are after to fix your problem. Soon your trusty blender will be back in working order, allowing you to prepare those delicious soups and smoothies. 

Dimensions:

  • Diameter Outer: 85mm
  • Diameter Internal: 70mm

This part is serial number dependent for certain models and the two seals are not interchangeable.

For example: you cannot use a ridged seal on an appliance that uses a smooth seal, and you cannot use a smooth seal on an appliance that requires a ridged seal.

    Won't stay seated, slightly too small 02 April 2021

    The Kenwood blade base is designed for both the blender (e.g. for smoothies) and the grinder (e.g. for grinding coffee beans, nuts etc). I am somewhat pleased there are three rings in an order as I have ground up two of them already. The inner diameter is slightly too small for the ring to sit flush, and the outer slightly too small for the ring to snug into place between the tabs that should hold it in place. My other ring fit so well that it was hard to get out. This one falls out. When you set the ring in place, and invert it over the grinder cup full of coffee beans, it can easily fall out of place and then get caught in the blades when you turn it on. You can't see this because the cup if full of coffee beans, but boy - you sure do hear it when the ring is getting ground up - but then it is too late. On to ring #2.... and #3... I am saving the final ring for just using the blender. Maybe I will have to glue it in place....

watched the video for replacing seal in blender Kenwood BL330 but... 1 Answer

I cannot remove the blade unit. In the video it comes out easily, mine appears to be a complete unit where the middle bit doesn't lift out. My unit is leaking through the little red holes either side of the blade base unit. Can anyone help me please. I cannot see any seal whatsoever in my appliance.

    Try soaking in hot water as the blade unit may have stuck from previous spillages. It may be possible to remove and replace the seal without removing the blade unit by using a screwdriver to move the seal and lift it out. Be carefull not to cut yourself on the blade if trying this.

Nespresso replacement drip tray
I ordered a Nespresso machine drip tray, the one in the photo had a metal grill, the one that arrived did not, I had a quick response from Espares informing me that the photo was in error and in fact there was no grill, however I ordered the same product to check if I had ordered the wrong drip tray and the second one arrived with a grill, very confusing

Don't use them - terrible customer service
The item was fine - espares Customer service is not. I accidently included the wrong address so I immediately went to the 'my orders' section of my account to either amend the address or cancel the order so I could re-order it. Despite the website saying you could there is no such function available even whilst the order is processing and not yet sent. All of this was within the first 5 minutes of ordering the item because I realised that in processing the order, the espares website doesn't ask you to confirm your delivery address, instead it just relies on the one in your profile and since mine had changed since I set up my profile I immediately realised it would be sent to the wrong address. Despite trying to get in contact with espares by email, online chat and phone I could not speak or get in contact with anyone and the order was sent to the wrong address. Luckily I was able to get it sent back to me but it was just sheer luck that I had the contact details of the person at the wrong address otherwise I would have never been able to get it back. I would avoid using this website - if they can't back their business up with customer service then companies like espares should not be in business.
