will this fit a hotpoint aqurius washing machine. and how do you fit it, it will not just pull off.

To replace the knob take the control panel off the front panel. The knob is attached to the control panel by two catches on the raised shoulders that spring out and prevent removal. You may need to dismantle the module so you can press these catches and release the knob.
