  Cannot get the door off! 25 August 2013

  I cannot rate this part accurately, simply because I cannot unscrew the door on my washing machine. Espares video makes it look so easy but despite trying every screwdriver I own the 2 door screws will not budge. So I cannot use the replacement door handle and I am still having to open the door with a spoon.

  To help prevent damage to a fan element turn the thermostat down to minimum for thirty seconds before switching off. Stopping the fan immediately when the element is hot can cause overheating as the circulating air stops.

  Could not fit it 19 May 2012

  I am a reasonable DIYer but I could not fit this and ended up buying a new washing machine. The video made it look simple but it was for another make so it did not help. Still, the new machine is excellent and the wife is really pleased with it--and if she's happy then I'm happy!!!
