  I ordered a replacement door latch for my Hoover washing machine. The ordering process was simple. It was delivered extremely quickly and was fitted in 10 minutes. Truly a great service - Thanks A tip for anyone fitting the part themselves - Take the door off and place on a flat surface. Look at the old catch prior to dis-assembly and assemble the new parts prior to fitting to match up with the old ones. Then fitting the new parts is just a matter of taking the components apart and re-fitting in-situ.

  this door handle is a hoover part and all you have to do is take the door off with the hinges still on and look at the way the spring is placed before you replace the handle that way you will save a fortune in repair charges for what is a simple repair great kit

  Door Handle 19 February 2009

  The door handle arrived with no instructions of how to fit it !!!! Having taken the old hanle off and thinking it would be real easy to swop over, how wrong i was. I can't tell you how many times the door was fitted together for the handle still not to work.After 2 hours i decided to go on line and see if anyone knew how to get the tension right on the spring. Thank god someone else had had the problem. The site was called "How do you do that" after following instructions from the site the handle is on and working perfect. No more using a fork to open the door.....Bliss.

  Very happy with the quality and price (a lot cheaper than getting an engineer) It was a little fiddly but fairly easy to fit. Use a digital camera and photograph the damaged part, it'll remind you how to assemble the new part.

  Handle rescue!! 09 February 2009

  Having got used to using a childs spoon to open my washing machine door, I was delighted to find a site that I could buy a spare handle to enable me to fix the door myself, instead of paying for someone to do it for me. The kit arrived quickly, and I found it very easy to install. Now I dont have to hunt around the kitchen for something to use to open the door!!

  I found the part I needed straight away. It was easy to order. It arrived promptly and it was the correct part to fix the washing machine. All this and I never needed to leave the house. Short of the part fitting itself things could not have been better. PS it was also cheaper than the local repair center.

  door hinge and handle 31 January 2009

  Take the inner screws out first supporting the weight. next take the outer compartment off still supporting the weight as the fixings for the hinge are inbetween the outer and inner part and will snap off if you dont take it apart correctly.

  Washing Machine Door Handle Kit 28 January 2009

  This would really have benefited from a diagram of how to install it. I tried really hard to work it out as I disassembled the old one - but it took me about 40mins. My advice would be to remove the old one really slowly - paying particular attention to the spring assembly! Would probably have only taken about 10 mins if I had some instructions. Great service though.
