Where should I check for blockages? There's nothing in the filters/bin. Could it be the circuitboard that failed? My Dyson had a weird plastic burning smell before dying. Has never turned on since.

I'm trying to identify if this is the correct part to fix my dyson. It smelt of burning before it stopped working. Is this likely to mean a faulty motor? The felt type casing around the motor is also slightly ripped, is a new one included with this? Many thanks

It is likely to be the motor, confirm there are no blockages causing the issue before checking the motor for any signs of damage.
