Let's get stuck in! To learn how to replace a Samsung ecobubble washing machine's dispenser drawer housing, either watch our video tutorial below or follow our written step-by-step guide beneath.
Safety first
Remember, always make sure you switch off and unplug an appliance before carrying out any work such as repairs and part replacements.
Step 1: Access your washing machine's dispenser drawer housing
To access and remove the old dispenser drawer housing from your washing machine, you'll first need to remove the washer's top panel. Using your Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that hold the top panel in place at the back (one on either side).

With the screws removed, you will then be able to pull the top panel off the washing machine and place it to one side.

You will also need to remove the dispenser drawer itself before removing the housing. To do this, pull the dispenser drawer out and push down on the blue button at the back. This will allow you to completely remove the drawer from the machine.

Step 2: Remove the old dispenser drawer housing
Now it's time to start removing the dispenser drawer housing. Using your Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the five screws that keep the housing secure; three of these screws can be found just in front of the metal beam above the front end of the housing...

And two can be found around the opening you just removed the detergent drawer from.

Once unscrewed, four tubes will still be connected to the housing; one at the side, one underneath and two at the back. To remove the side tube, open the metal clip that holds the tube to the housing by hand, then slide the metal clip a little way down the tube. This will allow you to pull the tube off the housing.

This can be repeated for the tube connected beneath the housing too. This tube is much larger, but the removal process is the same.

Then, to remove the two tubes from the back of the housing, you can repeat this process again; however, the metal clamps will be more stiff here, so you will need to use pliers to open them and shimmy them down the tubes before pulling the tubes free.

Step 3: Fit the new dispenser drawer housing
With the old housing removed, you can now start fitting the new one! First, reattach the tubes to the new housing, starting with the larger tube that attaches from beneath first. Slot the tube onto the bottom of the housing, then secure it by fitting the clamp over the end of the tube.

Next, reconnect the two tubes to the back of the housing by slotting them into place and securing the metal clips over the ends with your pliers.

Then reconnect the side tube (the last of the four tubes), again by slotting it onto the housing and securing it in place with its metal clip by hand.

With all the hoses in place, you can now screw the new dispenser drawer housing into place to secure it. Using your Phillips screwdriver, refit the three screws that hold the housing in place from above...

Then also refit the two screws that screw into the frame on either side of the detergent drawer opening.

Step 4: Reassemble your washing machine
Now that your new dispenser drawer housing is fully fitted, you can slot the detergent drawer back into place.

Finally, you can refit the top panel by slotting it into place on top of the washing machine and returning the two screws at the back.

And there you have it! How to carry out a Samsung ecobubble washing machine dispenser drawer housing replacement step-by-step. Your appliance should now be as good as new once more!
