Have you damaged the vacuum belt? You will need this as it helps to turn the agitator brush bar, which beats dirt and dust from the grip of the carpet.

Both these parts are stretched between the motor pulley which supplies power to the belt and brush bar.

In the event of the brush roll no longer spinning this will mean that the vacuum will not be able to pick up dust and dirt as it normally would. eSpares has a replacement belt here that will get to vacuum back to top notch so that getting dirt and dust out of the carpet will be an easy process once again!
