Old chassis new motor 20 March 2018
Watch the video a couple of times before doing it, order the motor very simple on line. Check over your hoover for any other parts you might need in the near future just as well fit them while its apart, give yourself enough time to do the job an hour at least, we have a 11year old animal d.c.7 and its now as good as new for a fraction of a new one

Really great value and service. Ordered Sunday , delivered Wed morning by normal post. The on line video was terrific and made the process much easier. A bit fiddly but did it in about an hour. You will need a special long thin screwdriver to access two of the recessed screws. Only one small concern. The motor is in a small strong cardboard box but was then placed in a much larger box with no packing. Fortunately it arrived undamaged. Reckoned I saved £130 by replacing the motor against a new Dyson.

Genuine Dyson part (not a clone!) 23 January 2018
This was the real deal. The part I needed. I have two DC07 vacuums. Both 10+ years old. First one blew a motor a year ago. I bought a replacement on line (advertised as genuine Dyson) but it was clearly a clone when it arrived. Fitted it but it blew in under a year. Again found a "genuine original" on line whihc was clearly a clone when it arrived. Fitted it anyway. Still going after two months. So, when the other machine died, I tried harder to find a genuine. The spares genuine motor was exactly that. Dyson boxed and identical to the original motor. OK, it cost a bit more, but I expect it to last! Thanks!

Having looked at the video short about fixing I thought it was worth giving it a go. Most of the dismantling instructions are good but some parts I found difficult to get apart, particularly the switch casing. As most parts are joined with plastic pieces that ‘clip’ together one is afraid of breaking the plastic. The reassembly was fairly straightforward, make sure the rubber cover is properly fitted to the new motor and then with the use of washing up liquid it assembles easily. The hardest part was again reassembling the switch assembly which I never managed entirely satisfactory but it works, and as my wife says it has never had so much ‘suck’ . The videos are essential but could do with a bit of fine tuning. Great service ordered Sunday, delivered Wednesday in France.

Great purchase ever 06 January 2018
Having ordered on Thursday 04/01/18 ,delivered on Friday 05/01/18 , I set about replacing this motor after watching the espares how to video . once removing all the covers and old motor. the new motor was as straight swop and all back in and running in over a hour . Found the video very helpful as some of the covers are a little tricky ,the one over the clutch drive took a bit of time to locate back into place.

Packaged and sold as genuine dyson motor which I thought was a safer bet than the cheaper options. Original had lasted about 15 years so if this does the same I will be happy. You tube video essential to guide you through fiddly fitting process but satisfying when completed. Great delivery service. Used voucher code to get 10% discount.

Usual E spares service quick and efficient ,perfect! After viewing the video I had no problems fitting the motor if you can wire a plug you can do this job. Just lay the bits out in the order you take them off and everything is waiting in a queue for you when you put it back together!

So easy to place my order after checking it was correct part for our Dyson. Delivery was a week earlier than quoted which was excellent and helpful video made fitting the new motor a simple job.
