  we fitted the part easily but the belt lasted only 20 mins, although the grass was not long as i had cut the grass only 4 days before using the lawn rake, i will not be purchasing any more belts, i am disposing of the lawn rake Frankie

  The usual cause of belt failure is stiffness in the rollers or pulleys causing slipping and burning. When replacing any belt ensure all rollers turn freely and do not bind due to debris entering the bearings or around the shaft.

  The belt was despatched speedily and generally the experience of dealing with e spares was very postive. The 'ease of fitting' was a digfferent matter - the belt was a swine to fit but that's in the nature of this type of belt. Tip: make sure the belt is well warmed up before attempting to fit it.
