Very Quick Dilvery 21 August 2018

Wife owned up to breaking the tumble dryer at about 6:30 pm. Looked up the model ordered the belt about 7:30 - winced a bit at the postage but when it was with me by lunch time the following day - you see the value - Had the machine fixed within 24hours of it being broke - can't complain ay that . If your lucky you might find a very useful specific how to video on youtube by espares that shows you how to fit the part

Not easy to fit 28 September 2017

At first it appears as though the belt is too small as there is little extra after wrapping around the drum. However by leaving the drum detached from front panel seal this will allow the drum to drop sufficiently in order to engage the belt with the drive shaft.

New belts are difficult to fit as they need to be stretched. Follow the video and stretch as much as possible before attempting to fit onto the motor or pulley.

Does what it says and cheaper than calling in an engineer. Tricky to fit as others have said - just persist.

Hard work but worth every penny 09 November 2016

Advice - watch a few online videos on changing a tumble drier drive belt - methods of access and fitting vary from model to model. I had mine stripped down ready when the belt arrived and managed to fit it on the drum by easing the front of the machine off slightly. Push the front back into the drum. The old belt had left a polished mark on the drum as a convenient line-up point. Now for the hard bit. The belt can be stretched by hand to about 25-30mm from the drum. The motor drive shaft is 50+mm away. I tried using a 15mm solid rod to stretch it to the drive shaft but there was nothing to lever it against. Second attempt succeeded using the largest flat blade screwdriver I could find. Place the screwdriver shaft through the belt and the end of the flat blade against the far side of the motor drive shaft. Lever the belt away from the drum until its natural tension moves it down the screwdriver shaft and onto the drive pulley part of the motor shaft. Check that the drum revolves smoothly by hand before re-assembly and testing. Don't forget to vacuum out all the fluff that will have collected in the exit vent pipe, under the filter and also all over the inside of the machine. Check under the filter for coins, buttons and oddments. I have no idea how they got in there past the filter but I retrieved £1.25 towards the cost of the belt.

    Gave up 07 December 2015

Belt fine, delivery excellent. Fitting atrocious, gave up after multiple cuts and muscle strain (no adjustments possible.) Bought a new Tumble dryer instead.

    Replacement belt 23 March 2015

Quality looks good. Tricky to fit as it doesn't stretch easily. Hoping to get another 100 hours from this one.
