  Tight fit on new belt 10 April 2012

  Fitting the new belt was proving difficult until I found I could pull it through the base of the dryer onto the spindle using the broken belt looped through the new one. Nothing mentioned on the video but much more difficult than fitting the drum spindle or bearings

  Dryer Belt Fitting 01 March 2012

  The belt is still not fitted as I am wondering how to stretch it to fit. It is the correct belt as the old part number is the same. I am about to try warming it up with a hair dryer for more flexibility. Your video showed the drum with jockey pulley and not straight to the motor shaft type.

  The item arrived after several days and was exactly what was required for the job. Fitting was easy as I made my own tool for the final move of "belt to drive shaft" on the motor.

  it was exactly the same as the old belt that i replaced. 26 December 2011

  I'm a 23 year old single mum, that close to Christmas there was no way that i could afford a call out fee, and with school uniform to wash i couldn't live without my tumble drier. The part arrived promptly and well packaged, I had watched the instructional video and thought I'd give it a go. it took a long time for me to get the band on as I had different model of tumble drier to the one in the video and had to use a flat head screwdriver to hook it on to the motor, but someone stronger would have got it on faster. and after that it was a case of screwing it all back together, taking pictures of the wiring was a very very good tip!

  Great belt, but tight fit! 11 May 2011

  First of all - excellent service from eSpares. Minutes after ordering, I found this belt slightly cheaper elsewhere, but I used eSpares price matching facility, and had a small discount within a couple of hours. The belt itself is very good, but it seems like it only just fits around the drum, let alone the motor arm. However, it *does* stretch, but it requires some brute force to stretch it far enough to get on the motor arm. I used the old broken belt to pull the new one down far enough to slip it on.
