dryer drive belt only lasted a week don,t know if it is faulty part or dryer related , motor on dryer and drum both running free , used belt tool to chahge i will re-order and try again watch this space..

The drive belt was just as required. Arrived in good time and was priced very reasonably. There is a tool required to fit the belt but I and my son made do with a little brut force in the right place.

The belt was fine except that it is incredibly hard to ft given that it must be stretched out a lot and there is very little give in the material - it was very difficult and required a fair bit of brute strength - not very user friendly.

Found the correct belt easily enough using espares website, with fitting tips from other peoples comments. Soaking the belt in hot water prior to fitting worked extremely well in my case. Very good delivery at a good price.

This part saved us loads of ££ in a professional repair - and of course the original belt snapped when the dryer was out of warranty! This spare is a great quality product, and arrived very quickly.. but it took both me & my husband and ALL of our energy to get this thing on! He's an engineer and we were still both stumped on how this thing was going to fit! We still wouldn't have paid the extra ££ for the tool that's sold to do it... it is possible to do it without it, but it is a struggle! Basically you just have to pull like mad and stretch this thing around the drum barrel & motor crank. And I mean STRETCH! Well worth it & I'm back in business now... thanks!

i read many reviews about how hard it was to replace the belt without the tool, but i didnt buy the tool i removed the top and i removed the side on the left hand side as u look at the front of the machinethen i lay the machine on its right hand side on a towelthen i put the belt in very hot water for 10 minutes, and i rubed some talcum powder all over the drum, when i got the belt dry i fitted it from the front of the drum by gently pulling the front including the door forwrds just enough to get the belt over the front of the drum via the space betwween the doorfront and the front edge of the drumit slipped on easily and i put it on the wear mark the previous belt had made shiney,with the machine still laying on its right hand side i got a 24 inch piece of flexible clear nylon water or fuel pipe and i fed it through some holes in the bottom plate of the machine level with the electric motors belt spindleand through the belt and back of another of the holes i tied a knot in one end of the pipe so it could not be pulled back through its hole and then i pulled the other end hard until i could see it was level with the end of the spindle and i reached in and pushed it over the spindle, removed the pipe from the knot end and re-fitted all the sides it took me 3 minutes once i had the pipe through the belt , plus the re-assebly time of the carcass, good luck by the way i wiped off the talcum powder before closing the carcass
