Great purchase for Hotpoint Tumble Drier 30 July 2018
Good product and quick delivery. Due to arthritis in hands I found it a little difficult to fit, particularly having to stretch the belt to get close to the motor spindle. Awkward trying to get it over the motor spindle with machine in the vertical position - so I turned the drier on it's side and managed it second attempt. Overall very pleased with product and service from espares and would highly recommend.

Not that tough 10 April 2018
When I read the reviews I doubted that I would be strong enough to pull the belt over the spindle (I'm 67). In the end it wasn't that tough. Just follow the advice and use the old broken belt to pull the new one down. It took me 2 minutes to get the hang of it. Watching the video of how to replace a belt was really useful too. The dryer now works perfectly and I've saved a packet.

Nightmare to fit. 28 March 2018
Fixing the new belt was a complete nightmare as the belt is ridiculously tight. I wasn’t able to stretch it enough and a rather more muscular relative only managed it after heating the belt on a hot radiator to expand it a little. The back of the drum was buckled in the effort and no longer seals agains the rear seal properly. Next time a new belt is required it’ll be a new drier!

what a game this is 20 February 2018
What a game this is, this belt only just fits over the drum and yet you have it strech it to reach the motor pully by atleast 3 inchs. This was not easy to fit and i still can not understand why they don,t have a larger belt and a tenchion pully. Hope i never have to fit this again. But i will say this if it was not for espares i would have had to buy a new machine well done espares.

Contacted espares direct just to confirm I was ordering the correct part & the gentlemen I spoke to was very helpful & knowledgable. I've only rated it 1 for "Ease of fitting" because unless you have some idea, practical, mechanics, it would have to be fitted by a Pro or someone who has experience of this type of job! I was a Service Engineer many years ago, so it was a massive help.

Great service. I ordered on Saturday expecting the order to be read Monday and delivered Tuesday but it was acknowledged on Sunday and delivered Monday. Video was very helpful. However it is a bit difficult to fit.
