  Belt not yet fitted as bearing was was the issue 28 December 2014

  Bought for a Hotpoint TVM570P and seems like good quality. Bought to fix a screeching sound but found the drum rear bearing was the issue and I had ordered this at same time as belt thus only replaced the bearing. Thus I have the belt as a spare and cannot comment any further at the present time.

  Bought for an Indesit tumble dryer repair 10 December 2014

  Easy ordering of part on line and fast delivery.Part seems to be of a good quality and although was a bit tricky to fit it is doing the job it was intended for.Excellent Video on You tube on how to fit but I would say wear gloves as the insides of the casing were very sharp.

  Good quality replacement part 10 November 2014

  Very happy with the part and it does the job. Pity is has to be so difficult to fit, does it really have to be that tight?

  Sorry but the answer is yes to grip the motor spindle without slipping when warm it has to be tight or it may slip wearing prematurely.

  does the job Creda 9 ribbed tumble dryer belt . 06 March 2014

  the belt arrived in days . If anybody is thinking of fitting the belt it can be fitted quite easily with the use of a short piece of 20 mm dia steel tube - slide the tube through the belt and slot onto the motor shaft- leaver downwards and rotate the tube and slide the belt onto the shaft - make sure the front of the drum is in the correct position- not to low - or clothes will jam in the gap causing the belt to jam and break

  Fitting a new belt to indesit 16 January 2014

  The belt was a very tight fit. Disassembly of dryer is quiet easy, but the belt is extremely tight and so is space to work Firstly tape belt to drum then either pay seventy five pounds for a tool(haven't tried this there may not be enough space to use it) or Using a star screw drive lever the belt over the motor..... this particular motor had holes in the motor that acted as a pivot for screwdriver. (two handed job)

  It came as promised and was good quality, was quite difficult to fit but managed after a while, needed to remove the drum as the belt is very tight when fitted.

  replacement 21 October 2013

  This was a replacement for a belt that burned out when the bearing failed. it does require considerable force to fit and made me wonder if I had the right one. But all well once it is in place. It would help if the instructions explained how tight it might be and how best to fit it over the motor spindle
