  Finishing touch to the job 17 August 2015

  Replaced the drum shaft on my tumble dryer. Wasn't sure if I needed a new collar - the old one looked ok to me - but for the price why wouldn't you want to replace the collar to ensure the job was finished properly?

  Easy Fit Tumble Dryer Bearing 30 December 2014

  Arrived quickly and at a good price. Old bearing was in bits & we fitted a New bearing and collar at the same time. Old collar was probably ok, but didn't risk it due to state of bearing. This one was simple to fit, job done in 15 minutes & dryer working again. Cannot testify to life time of bearing since only fitted it last week. But it sure has saved getting a new Dryer & the cost of the repair man.

  You need to assess whether this is the only broken piece 10 December 2012

  After sending off for this piece, I found that other pieces were also, worn out and broken, and needed a second delivery from e-spares. Eventually I needed a replacement collar, bearing, cotter pin and back plate. The back plate needed 2 old rivets drilling out and new ones fitted using a rivet gun.
