  This water filter fits to a plastic tube from my water supply to the water/ice dispenser on my American style fridge/ freezer. It tucks away under my kitchen units and is really easy to fit and exchange, requiring no tools. It works very well and my tap supplied water is always clean and refreshing. The filter needs replacing every 6-8 months and it's price has dropped every year for the past 5 years. If you have an LG product requiring a filter, go for this!! I can fully recommend it.

  Water filter for lg fridge 26 July 2015

  I wanted an internal filter 1 difficult to get 2 expensive therefore why not use external filter. Fitted pipe fine no problem! This could be used on any fridge with 1/4 inch pipe so is effectively generic ? thank you!!

  A little different from what was on the fridge as the one that was on it was push fit which can be easily fitted without turning of the water supply if you quick but this is the screw type so take a little longer to fit but still dose the job .
