  Replacement part did not include rubber handle, but was exactly like the old one otherwise and fitted perfectly. Washer now good as new! Once again, espares has saved me a packet! Thanks!

  Money saver 07 November 2009

  Was unable to open washing machine door. The handle was loose. This is the second time for me, last time I paid an engineer to change it-not this time. This handle was used on a wt540 aquarious washing machine. REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE SOCKET-Pull out the washing machine-remove 2 retaining screws holding the washer top on-push the top to the rear with the heel of your hand-locate the small hook inside the door holding it shut and push it towards the door to open it-remove 4 hinge screws-take off the door and remove 3 screws inside the door-separate the 2 halves of the door with small screwdrivers-remove the broken handle noting where the spring goes onto the door retaining hook-fit new handle with old hook and spring-replace glass door bowl and the 2 door halves-put back the 3 screws-put hinges back into washing machine and secure with the 4 screws(you may have to put your hand down and hold the hinges in place on the inside of the machine-I did). Thats it.Saved me a fortune.

  Great money saver 11 February 2009

  Forget calling out an engineer if your door handle just flops around instead of opening the door. Take the top of the machine off, release the catch with a screwdriver (push the silver bit away from the side of the machine) and install a new handle easily with just 3 door screws to undo and a simple slot together mechanism.
