  Great replacement product, fairly simple to fit following the online video. Had a bit of a struggle with taking the top off my WT960G (need to give it a good slap on the front once screws taken out of back). Apart from that a straight forward swap.

  product was tricky to fit, i have a hotpoint washer and found we had to remove the front of the washer to be able to fit the inside sealing ring, needed two people. recommend you watch the video,

  Like a new machine! 19 January 2011

  Everything was great. The only issue we had was that The video demonstrating fitting of this seal was not applicable for our machine, as ours was a hotpoint machine, not ariston. However, with a bit of digging my husband found an online forum that explained what to do and he dismantled the front panel and top of the machine and easily replaced the seal. Wish we'd done it months ago!

  Could have done with some simple fitting instructions with this part. Simple enough once I had worked out which way was up and how to tease the seal onto the drum housing.

  Fitting Rubber Door Seal 25 December 2009

  Take your time and watch the video a few times. Insert all the seal inside the machine front 'wall' and place one hand over the top of the seal and the other through the big hole so that you can locate and feel the inner groove onto its fitting rim. Once you work out the best technique, the seal will easily fit into place. Be prepared to carefully 'open' fixing bands for re-use when securing the new rubber.
