  Replacing Hotpoint W/M Door Seal 18 July 2011

  The service was good, However, your espares fitter lads on the demo video, made it look easy. Thats fine if your doing this on a regular basis. I did find it difficult to fit the new seal espectially over the inner and outer lips of panels. I need not had taken out the two screws holding the door latch as this can just be unplugged at least on this model. The latch fell away and It took me some time to realize that it needed to be refitted between the front skin of the front panel and NOT behind. At first this I was doing and made it impossible to latch shut the door.

  Easy to Fit 12 July 2011

  The last time I replaced a door seal it took a long time but having had a quote to fit a new one, prompted me to do it myself. The ease it which I was able to locate and identify the correct door seal was great. The on-line video gave very clear instructions on replacing the door seal and in no time at the entire job was completed. No more dirty clothes as the washing is taken out of the machine!! Thank you.

  I should have changed the door seal rubber sooner, the washing was getting mysterious black marks all over it. I discovered the marks were from contact with the old seal. Seal replacement was not so hard as I thought it would be. A useful tip, label all the screws you remove as they are different sizes. This makes re_assembly a doddle. Watch the how to replace a door rubber video, I found it very accurate. Be methodical and good luck.

  Not knowing if I could actually change a door seal on my washing machine myself, I was very happy when I easily found the required item on espares.   Washing machine door seal for a Hotpoint WD960 12 June 2011

  I bought this to fit on a 7 year old WD960 Hotpoint washing machine that had a leak coming down the inside of the front panel. I would suggest anyone wishing to fit this part to watch the video on their web site first. This made the whole process so much easier. Espares were very helpful when I had a problem with the delivery and resolved it very quickly. If I do need any spare parts in the future I will defiantly use them again.
