  This seal replaced a mouldy one in my hotpoint front loader (only 2 years old). Original not covered by extended warranty because, according to the supplier, the mould was caused by use of low temp detergents aggravated by cold water fill and through me not using a dual purpose limescale/detergent cleaner once per month! I will follow the cleaning regime and hopefully this seal will last. Easy to fit with the video instructions on espares website.

  Gets the job done 13 October 2011

  I purchased a new washing machine door seal from e-spares following an e-mail and video link showing me how to change this item. I knew it needed doing and after watching the video demonstration thought it looked fairly easy to do. The part was not clearly identifiable from the list so I asked a question about suitability and received a reply within 2 days stating which seal was the correct one. I placed the order and was told it was out of stock but would be kept up to date via e-mail until it was dispatched. I received 3 further mails telling me the status and finally it had been dispatched. Total time 7 days. I would not have tackled this without seeing the video first and recommend any one who wants to do this to watch the video first.In the end I saved what I reckon would have been a fair amount of money by doing it myself. Total time to fit less than 1 hour. The fastener on the outside that goes around the seal was the most awkward but if you study how it comes off then it is quite straight forward. Washer been on since and no leaks anywhere.

  A good quality product but fitting the new seal to the machine was quite awkward and certainly not as easy as your video shows. Nonetheless very pleased with the quality and the sewrvice from espares.

  Perfect fit for my Hotpoint WML760, but what made me purchase from eSpares was their excellent video on how to fit it. Needed as the old one had gone mouldy and no end of soda crystals etc could shift it.

  Excellent service 21 August 2011

  The door seal was to find in the store, ordering was easy and the delivery was quick. The best part of the service was the tutorial on how to fit the door seal. I could not have done the job without it, even though it missed out two of the screws to remove. The video was easy to follow which undoubtedly saved me a great deal of money employing an engineer to do the job for me. I will use espares again because of the great all round service.
