  Clean as a whistle 18 December 2016

  I have often descaled my Gaggia machine but never tried to use a cleaner on the portafilter, the filter and the filter disc (which is fixed with one screw under the brew head). I've had the machine for five years and these tablets worked a treat. I did give two application though as there was five year's worth of coffee stains. This will now be a monthly task. Excellent results.

  Bought this product as needed to clean & descaler my coffee machine. These tablets are just for degreasing & not descaler & whilst I'm sure they will be fine for the former task, from the description online it was not clear that they did not perform a descaler task. Espares were helpful at sorting the descaler for me.

  Not quite what it says not suitable for my machine 20 July 2011

  The description of this product is straightforward - its for cleaning any automatic coffee machine. From that you assume that it will clean the working parts of a coffee machine i.e. the boiler and espresso components - WRONG! What the description doesn't tell you is that its only for the coffee hopper and filter areas of particular machines (removes coffee grind grease thats all) and no use to espresso machines at all in any way ever. Pointless returning due to postage costs. Basically, its neither use no ornament! Doesn't event warrant one star, but thats the lowest this will allow!
