  one of the worst saftey devices i have ever come across 28 July 2015

  however belling got this passed i will never know the extention on the rear of the knob when you lower the glass cover on the range is surposed if you have left a gas ring on to turn it off but these extentions are so weak they break off sometimes you are unaware of the break why these are made of plastic i will never understand it more of a hazzard than a safety device no wonder its one of your best sellers they break so often and to keep your cooker safe you have to buy them its not espears fault

  Expensive for what it is 29 November 2012

  eSpares are a great company and they offer the best deal for this item, but as this is essentially shiny coated plastic, that easily breaks regardless of how gentle you are, I think this is a very expensive item and is of poor quality.

  Replacement Knob 19 March 2012

  Changed a few of these as the long taper breaks suggesting a possible design fault, but helps pay for my holidays............

  Not very robust 04 June 2011

  I 've found the quality of the knob to be below the standard i'd expect from Belling and quite expensive. The knob is fragile being made from a weak plastic. I've found a number of the knobs have split where the metal insert is located. On a positive note, the knob is easy to replace.

  Belling Control Knob 05 March 2009

  Service from espares is excellent which is just as well for this product. Belling seem to have come up with the weakest possible part here as they are constantly breaking. I now order "spares" of the spares so that I always have a supply to hand. Can't fault espares but the rating is just for the shoddy materials used by Belling.
