  Should have been better 02 August 2012

  The idea is good and the product is essential if you need a new oven shelf for an out of production oven...but...although the materials from which this shelf is made are up to the job, the engineering is pretty poor. The two extenders pull out of the main shelf to properly fit your oven width. The problem is that on the product I received the slide fit was so slack they slid back in again during use and the shelf collapsed. I have "Modded" this now by applying several smart blows with a ball pein hammer and squished up the main tube to offer a tighter fit to the slides. OK for me but probably wouldn't suit someone who didn't have a hammer :-)

  New size? 13 June 2012

  I have previously ordered these shelves to fit my caravan oven and ordered some more for my friend. On receipt found the design had slightly changed - the shelf edges now curve out more and this means they no longer fit my, or my friends, caravan ovens.Have kept then as spares for my main house oven. Check the size of your oven very carefully!

  Not quite what I expected 13 February 2012

  I needed an extra shelf for my gas oven and when I saw it was extendable, I bought it. Unfortunately it wasn't as deep as I needed. It will however not be wasted as I can use it on the bottom shelf

  Rather Flimsy!! 14 December 2011

  I do have the larger of the ovens that this is for, but it is rather flimsy. I dont think I would trust it with much more than one oven tray. I hoped it wouldhavebeen sturdier.

  Great idea, great service from ESPARES as usual but the quality of the product was poor. When expanding the shelf to fit oven the tension clips inside the metal tubing popped out and were not able to be reinserted therefore not fully functioning.

  O.K. but no cigar 16 November 2011

  Looks good quality and easy enough to slide to correct size, but one of the spring fittings came out at the same time and isn't possible to fit back in! Thus one side is loose and insecure, but not worth the hassle of returning for a replacement.
