  Not very good build quality 01 February 2016

  When you adjust it and slide it in place it tends to adjust to a small width. This could be dangerous. So I had to weld the shelf to our oven size. So I advise NOT to buy, buy one that is for your oven

  A partial success 28 December 2015

  The item arrived very quickly despite difficulties that can be experienced over the xmas period. It is as stated and the only problem is that once extended to fit the oven is does not appear to lock in place and therefore is subject to some movement when getting the shelf in and out of the oven. This is a bit annoying and I suppose has the potential to be a little dangerous.

  Good product but fixings not up to scratch 12 October 2015

  This promised to be a good answer to our problem of having only one oven shelf. Initially it was, but the retaining pins which are meant to keep the shelf to the width of the oven gradually worked loose and the shelf dropped down. I have cut a metal skewer to fit inside the outer frame, (to stop the inner sliders from reducing the width), then fitted the pins again and so far it has worked.

  Served the purpose. 24 July 2015

  An extendable oven shelf (I think, made of chromed steel), the extension pieces held in position by a spring system. Don`t think the spring assembly is strong enough, as every time the shelf was re-positioned, it required continual adjustment. Problem solved with the application of Araldite, which firmed up the whole unit. No further problems.

  Disappointed 20 July 2015

  The locking pins intended to secure the shelf in a fixed position did not work efficiently ( a cake I was baking fell off the shelf when it slipped out of position) and my husband improvised a more secure method using panel pins. Otherwise they are very good.

  Shelf is good but it doesn't stay extended to the width I need so it has fallen of the oven shelf brackets and has to be continually adjusted.

  Lightweight Shelf 14 November 2014

  This did what it set out to do, but the extending feature resulted in a lack of stability. I have solved this to some extent by loctiting the sliding feature after establishing the correct extension position,and the shelf is now acceptable.

  Does the job 17 February 2014

  I needed an extra shelf in my new oven, and the branded ones were so expensive I thought I would give this a go. It is adequate for when needed but a little less substantial that the branded ones. The width is also a little short.

  Okay as backup shelf 19 December 2013

  Shelf is okay as a lightweight backup shelf when cooking a lot in one oven. However one pin was jammed which made it difficult to extend one side. When extended, the pins don't hold the sliding parts firmly enough, so I may have to drill and pin through the frame to make the arms more secure should the extenders close up during use.
