  Worst ever purchase - does not fit my oven. Therefore not universal 22 February 2012

  I assumed from the description 'Universal E14...' that it would fit. After all, it looks extremely similar to the bulb I was replacing. Unfortunately, it is slightly larger, so I cannot get the oven's glass cover back on once the bulb is inserted in the oven. I have therefore removed the bulb from the oven and purchased one from a department store (for less than half the price - that was a surprise... unless the espares one lasts much longer). I suppose if it fits your oven, it gets 5 stars - who knows? As a pointer for anyone needing one of these... If your existing bulb has a small swelling on the end, this one might fit. If it does not have a small swelling on the end, I would be careful. I am considering what to do with this purchase. The bulb is currently sitting in its box in my cupboard. Is it worth asking for a refund?

  Very easy to fit, but just a word of warning, you may think that you have tightened the bulb up completely but when you switch it back on it does not work, you may find that you have to give it a couple more turns before it connects. I know were to come if it goes again, without hesitation.

  What customer service 29 December 2011

  Ordered this bulb for my 91 year old mother. Very easy to fit in oven but the first bulb did blow but what wonderful customer service from Espares they sent another one out by next day delivery and all free of charge. Nice to get such service in this day and age.
