  It does the job 27 September 2020

  This was quite expensive when I bought it a year ago but it is cheaper than a plumber call-out! The only problem that you should be aware of is that there is no forward facing jet, just the three or four rear facing jets. This means that stubborn blockages are not that easy to shift because it has to force the head into the blockage for the rear facing jets to clear it. I don't know why a good company like Karcher would miss that vital feature. If I was buying again I would definitely get one which also had a single forward facing jet as well as the rear facing ones. I did see one at the time of purchase but this one was made by Karcher so I thought it would be OK.

  Great tool 19 April 2016

  Bought this to clear storm drains and land drains. Easy and safe to use but has a tendency to coil-back on itself for the first few uses. Can get through most jobs but can get caught on rough joints in earthenware drains - OK in plastic and cast iron. Would buy again.

  Usual Karcher quality. easy to fit into hand gun. Jet powerful enough to clear a 4" drain. Only downside is that the hose wants to retain the shape it was in the box and I haven't yet worked out how to reduce the tight circular format it wants to retain. Other than that, it does the job well.

  Perfect for soft blockages in small pipework 09 May 2013

  Good quality product, although a bit expensive for what you get. Perfect for clearing soft blockages in small bore pipework, but isn't man enough for clearing root blockages and large items such as bricks. Small diameter allows cleaning round bends down to around 100mm radius, but allows head to penetrate narrow spaces and get stuck. Mine is now stuck in a major root blockage, so I have no option but to dig it out! However, this isn't a complaint, I didn't really expect a miracle, I was just hoping for one. Even the professionals would have had trouble with my blockage.

  Its what I really needed 16 June 2012

  I own a Boarding Kennels and for years I have had trouble with the outside drains from the kennel runs to the soak aways. In the past I have had to rely on drain rods to get my drains useable but slow. This time I used the drain rods then my drain cleaning kit now my drains are really clean free flowing and odour free. By using my drain cleaning kit as a maintenance tool the drain rods are a thing of the past.

  Cleared a very very blocked soil pipe saving a big dynorod bill. It did however take much longer to "punch" its way through than I expected but then again it was a serious blockage.

  Know your problem before you buy. 08 September 2010

  Did a great job cleaning the drain until it hit a physical object and could go no further. Will still use it to keep the drain moving but a permanent fix will require a different solution. Make sure your blockage is soft stuff and not brick/stones/pot etc.
