  I was using it attached to a 3m extension to clean a gutter. The force from the jet was so powerful that you had to use a fair bit of strength to control it. BUT it certainly did the job!

  Interesting tool 05 March 2011

  I purchased this tool with the view to cleaning gutters however the two piece lance added to extensions makes the operation ungainly and tricky to get right. I also worried that the pressure being used 90 degrees may snap the fittings. That said the join allows the jet stream to be changed slightly and this makes up for any short comings.

  Needs care in use 26 March 2010

  The underbody lance does exactly what it is designed for and strips away caked on mud and debris very quickly, but using it in confined spaces such as wheel arches takes some practice. Because there is no means of regulating the very high nozzle pressure at the end of the 3 foot wand the slightest loss of concentration can result in the total loss of control. Also, I might be reluctant to us the lance on plastic guttering in case I did damage but with care it should tackle that task well too. Overall, a very useful tool - just remember to hang on tight, or let go and run away!

  good product but hard to control 27 May 2009

  I bought this lance to clean guttering and wash moss of my roof. Easy to attach and worked well only problem was because of length hard to control when up a ladder - total length of lance approx 5 feet.

  Is it any good 23 October 2008

  I'm happy I bought it but unless you get under your car how do you know how effective its been? My thoughts are that its better than not using it and much safer than using a high pressure lance on the underside of the car.
