  Appears to be a Hotpoint spare part of adequate quality and the same as the original one. The problem is, if the plastic split on the original one the new one may do so also. Perhaps not the best design, and quite expensive to replace, but pleased to be able to obtain a replacement easily.

  This product was of a very high quality and arrived very quickly. It was probably off the original production tooling so I'm sure will be as good as new However, working in the plastics moulding industry I know what these products cost to make. Therefore, the price means an excessive mark-up and hence poor value. 30% of the price would still mean a good aftermarket profit

  This actually seems better than the original. It seems stronger. Never will Ibuy another hot point appliance, but it's cheaper to replace than buy new! Arrived quicker than stated!
