  This is the second handle I've had to buy for my fridge - both the original and the first replacement have broken in the same way across the screw holes, so it looks like a design weakness. This part matches perfectly and is straightforward to fit. Note: my fridge (Hotpoint RLA84) uses T20 torx screws on the handle, so check you have the right screwdriver. The part is to my mind very expensive for what it is, especially as, like the original part, it seems to break after a couple of years.

  Exactly the right part, but very poor design 25 March 2015

  Using the espares site made choosing the correct part very easy, but I'm sorry to say that the part itself is of very poor design. Over the life of this appliance I've had to replace the handle three times. Each time it has failed for the same reason which is cracking either side of the fitting screw holes.

  Perfect replacement 23 February 2015

  This is the perfect replacement for my freezer. The information given helped me to decide if this was the right handle. Telling me where to find the number of my freezer. It was definately the right handle for my freezer ! It only took 5 minutes to fit too. It's great having a handle back to open the freezer again.. Delivery was very quick, thank you Espares.....

  Refrigerator Door Handle 27 July 2014

  This was exact replacement item. Inherent fault with design. Suction and force needed to open door due to seal will weaken structure around the holes used for screw fastening. Could do a lot better with design for an otherwise a reasonable freezer.

  Only criticism is that handle comes alone. No screws which is fine if old broken handle still available. I had to dig through my jar of spares to find suitable screws. Otherwise. good quality and well pachkaged for delivery
