  Easy & Cheap Repair 16 February 2017

  The spring in my old Bosch dishwasher detergent dispenser had broken. The new spring was easy to fit and now the dispenser lid works properly again. It would have been good to have been able to buy just the spring on its own, but still not bad value.

  Fitted easilly 05 December 2016

  A broken spring in the dispenser of our dishwasher made it unuseable. Ordered the spring which was only available as part of a set (a pity). Ordered next day delivery but as I ordered in a Sunday evening it was Tuesday afternoon before it arrived ( not a major issue but I wonder in retrospect whether it was worth paying the addition for next day delivery ). Spring was exactly the same size and shape as the original so fitted very easily. All in all a good experience. Quicker and cheaper than a call out to an engineer.

  Not as difficult as it looked 03 November 2016

  I only needed to replace the spring, but managed to break the blue bit trying to prise it out thinking a nice new one would be better, so I needed to replace both bits. Learn from my mistakes... First of all you have to take the front of the door off. You cant pull the blue spindle out from inside the dishwasher - dont even try... Then once you are looking at where the blue spindle is held in place do not try and prise the 4 lugs apart. They will probably snap off, as did the first one I tried. Use a stanley knife or similar and slowly start trimming the tip of the blue bukbous bit until you can just push it through. Then you can push the new bit in and attach the new spring. The biggest issue I had was getting the front of the door back on as it was very heavy (built-in dishwasher so a layer of wood on the front). Top tip here is to rest the door front on a pile of cushions to hold it in place whilst you screw the panel back on. Good luck all!

  A good buy. 02 November 2016

  I just needed the spring,very easy to fit,though I did check the video which was very helpful. Perhaps a little expensive for what it was but at least it saved having to buy a new dishwasher. I have bought from this company before and the range of spares is very good.

  Its the spring which was needed 10 August 2016

  All it needed was the spring. I watched the video about how to fit it which was very helpful. The new spring fitted easily to replace the old one which was broken. The dishwasher is now running again. I know where to look when I need spares again.
