  Like having a new dishwasher 05 June 2017

  I only needed the spring, which was actually quite easy to fit and has transformed the dishwasher, restoring its original performance. A great relief - and a LOT cheaper than a new dishwasher!!

  Easy dishwasher repair 04 May 2017

  As most others I only actually needed the spring which had snapped but the saving grace is if you only need to replace the spring you don't have to dissasemble the dispenser just remove the sliding door discard the old spring and fit this replacement - I'm no big diy'er but it took me literally 15 seconds (you tube has lots of videos to help) and now dishwasher back in action no problem. Strongly recommend you do this yourself if you know it is the spring that has broken and save any call out fee's :)

  broken dispenser spring 18 April 2017

  couldn't buy just the spring, therefore this is a lot of money for a part I didn't need. Sell the spring separately for a fiver, much better value for money

  Easy & Cheap Repair 16 February 2017

  The spring in my old Bosch dishwasher detergent dispenser had broken. The new spring was easy to fit and now the dispenser lid works properly again. It would have been good to have been able to buy just the spring on its own, but still not bad value.

  Fitted easilly 05 December 2016

  A broken spring in the dispenser of our dishwasher made it unuseable. Ordered the spring which was only available as part of a set (a pity). Ordered next day delivery but as I ordered in a Sunday evening it was Tuesday afternoon before it arrived ( not a major issue but I wonder in retrospect whether it was worth paying the addition for next day delivery ). Spring was exactly the same size and shape as the original so fitted very easily. All in all a good experience. Quicker and cheaper than a call out to an engineer.

  It worked 24 November 2016

  The sliding lid of the tab dispenser on our 14 year old Bosch dishwasher has been frequently jumping out of its rails during the wash cycle. Replacing the spring seems to have fixed the problem, though won't know for sure for a week or more.

  Tricky to fit! 21 November 2016

  The online video shows how to remove and replace the entire dispenser, but if you only want to replace the cam, spring and washer then you're on your own! The business end of the cam is held in place by a four way plastic clip that grabs the cam a couple of millimetres from the end. It's been said before in other reviews, but it's worth repeating, you CANNOT remove the blue cam from inside the machine, you HAVE to remove the whole dispenser. To release the cam from the clip DON'T try to pry the four petals of the clip apart, they'll break and you'll have to buy a whole dispenser unit. One reviewer used a Stanley knife to "whittle" the protruding cam to a point so it could be withdrawn. I managed the job with a new, sharp, thin hacksaw blade, slipped between the clip and the end of the cam. TAKE CARE not to take the ends off the clip, otherwise the new cam will not click into place and, yes, you're ordering a whole new dispenser.
