  Excellent fast service to Cyprus by E-Spares - easy to fit and works perfectly. Saved me buying a complete new powder drawer. Great to find a company that is happy to post parts to Cyprus as it is always difficult getting spare bits here as they are not readily available in the shops and any that are available are usually very expensive.

  Does exactly what it says on the tin [package]. Replaces the worn out tripper mechanism to release the detergent compartment of the dishwasher as it cycles through its' programme.[the small original spring assembly just gets fatigued with normal use] Simplicity itself to fit & works a treat

  what a doddle 01 September 2009

  I thought I might not be able to fit the spring myself as many things against me! Am 63 year old lady with M.S and bad arthritis - just had shoulder replacement 12 weeks ago so my arm doesn't work properly yet and I have arthritis in finger and thumb joints. Well, job sorted in under 5 minutes by myself!! I am extremely happy to have been so independent and saved money on expensive call out by engineers. Many thanks espare.co.

  Fitting the spring 26 August 2009

  The spring was delivered within 5 days of ordering and fitted within minutes saving probably £40 or £50 in call out costs One end of the spring fits over the small shaft on the cover and the over the end of the cam shaft on the dispenser case. Then clip the cover on rather than sliding. Bit trial and error. Not sure what the other parts are for as I only used the spring.

  The two halves of the broken spring were still in place, so it was the work of a moment to clip the new spring in the correct way round. No call out charge, no waiting in for the engineer, clean dishes again.

  I was unsure if the soap dispenser included the spring which was broken. Phoned e spares and found I was able to buy just the spring, at a saving of over £15. Really easy to fit - about 2 minutes of fiddling. Great service.

  Fitting the new spring and replacing the sliding lid is easy....just make a note of which way around the old spring goes. However does anyone know how to fit the new cam?....It slides down into the machine but how to lock it into place?....Help!
