broken dispenser spring 18 April 2017

couldn't buy just the spring, therefore this is a lot of money for a part I didn't need. Sell the spring separately for a fiver, much better value for money

Tricky to fit! 21 November 2016

The online video shows how to remove and replace the entire dispenser, but if you only want to replace the cam, spring and washer then you're on your own! The business end of the cam is held in place by a four way plastic clip that grabs the cam a couple of millimetres from the end. It's been said before in other reviews, but it's worth repeating, you CANNOT remove the blue cam from inside the machine, you HAVE to remove the whole dispenser. To release the cam from the clip DON'T try to pry the four petals of the clip apart, they'll break and you'll have to buy a whole dispenser unit. One reviewer used a Stanley knife to "whittle" the protruding cam to a point so it could be withdrawn. I managed the job with a new, sharp, thin hacksaw blade, slipped between the clip and the end of the cam. TAKE CARE not to take the ends off the clip, otherwise the new cam will not click into place and, yes, you're ordering a whole new dispenser.

Rather expensive replacement spring 07 June 2014

Although I managed to fit the spring onto the dispenser door fairly easily and the tripping device works again, it did seem a rather overpriced solution as I didn't need the cam spindle which came with it. Also what was the washer for?

Bosch Dish washer dispenser tripping device with spring. 07 February 2014

I only needed to replace broken spring - the small plastic part was surplus to requirements. Expensive for just for a small stainless steel spring!

Exactly as expected 23 October 2008

Components where exactly what I expected. I only needed the spring - so the rest was redundant for my purposes. Fitting was a little fiddly but done in a few minutes.
