A excellent purchase to enable the dish washer to function properly 04 August 2013
Information in the e-spares listing was very useful, can be easily fitted by removing cover (gently flex to remove slides from slots on one side), remove broken spring, fit new spring and refit cover doing the reverse of the removal.

NEF Dish Washer Dispenser Lid Spring 22 April 2013
When the spring broke I thought that getting a replacement for this 16 year old machine would be difficult. E-spares had one on offer and I was delighted to be able to buy it. Delivery was good and it was easier to fit than expected and it worked first time.

Replacement Spring 07 March 2013
It was actually the spring that was damaged on my machine. I bought the whole thing including the trip device which arrived within 2 days. Fit just the spring on and bingo works fine so far!

Dispensing tray spring had snapped. Replacement supplied quickly and was easy to fit, with great help from the video.

Bosh dish washer soap dispenser lid and tripping device 09 April 2011
Never had a dish washer but there was one in a house we bought for holiday letting. The soap dispenser lid was inoperative when we bought it.We assumed everybody would just chuck in a tablet but when a guest complained we felt obliged to look at repair. Excellent video demonstrating how, would have been lost without it.The lid is a very expensive part for what it is though.

Simple fix that saves money 02 February 2011
A bit difficult to locate on the website, but arrived, quickly and easy to fit. The kit has 3 parts, spring, blue spindle and washer. I only needed the spring and it took my DIY shy son, 5 minutes to fit. The other parts were superfluous, but at less than £5, it wasnt a big deal.

Dispenser Tripping Device with Spring The problem was that the dispenser sliding lid would not engage shut so I guessed this part (on the website) needed renewing. However, removal of sliding lid (carefully prise out side claws and disengage spring to free it) revealed original part in good condition, being hard plastic, whereas the sliding lid is soft and its release claw was worn. Fitted new part anyway but no instructions how to release it. Inside the mechanism its spindle's shouldered head clicks through four small plastic claws that have to be opened simultaneously! I used 4 dressmaker's pins, one crosswise under each claw, like a little crown of thorns. Then I could push it out. I had to trim the soft plastic lid's claw to make it engage better with this part's head that is rotated by a solenoid during the wash cycle to release the sliding lid and thus the wash tablet. Self-education! I have bought from e-spares before and will do so again
