Early days but... 02 December 2009
The construction of the basket looks and is very sturdy and fingers crossed long lasting, Ive tried a few others more expensive, and from the minute you open the packaging you just know youre going to have to order a new one soon. Im sure this wont be the case here, will definately use espares again. Finally I know espare say describe the product only but special mention to their customer service who keep you updated on your order and very speedy delivery, sorry espares but these factors also encourage others to buy and hope this is the case after reading this. Thanks

This is just what was needed. The original (Smeg), although relatively new, was already disintegrating at the bottom and allowing cutlery to fall through and foul the jets. This is stronger, better made and easier to use. It fits well, holds the same as the original - and much cheaper than the Brand replacement.

Purchased to replace a basket that had worn and had holes in the bottom made by knives. New basket is far more solid and robust and looks like it will last much longer.
