  It got punctured after 2 hours of cleaning my concrete slabs. It was worn by friction against the cement, caused by vibrations. I assume these vibrations are not normal and caused by some defect in my old Karcher. I am going to buy a new Karcher unit that will not cost me much more than my 2 pressure hoses who died prematurely.

  Some disappointment here 27 March 2012

  This is my third such hose. All of them have frayed in use, and eventually spring leaks. When they are new, especially, they naturally relax into coiled shapes, and the intense vibrations in use are such that the rubber rubs off at the point of the coil touching the service. The problem disappears when the hose is straight. The hose rubber should give thicker protection.
