Door seal part 21 March 2012
The seal is fit for purpose for an indesit 1100 washer. Fitting the part is another thing. The design of the concrete washer weights attached at the front of the washer within 10mm of the door seal is ridiculous. If you could actually remove the steel front panel it would be a lot easier but this is not possible. A job that should take 10mins takes more like a an hour!

Great service, exceptionally speedy delivery. The problem we had was with fitting it, as neither me or my husband had ever attempted to fix a washing machine before. It didn’t help that on our model of the Indesit washing machine the front panel was spot welded on and therefore it was a real struggle to get the internal band back on. After a while and with rather blue air, we managed and our machine is as good as new. We are really pleased we did it ourselves and save a fortune.

Tricky to fit 24 February 2012
The door seal was very good quality and the 'how to fit' clip very handy to watch. Unfortunately, our Indesit front cover does not come off, so very fiddly and time consuming to fit new door seal.

The seal arrived in spot on condition and was the exact same one as the old one. Very fiddley job to do but well worth it as it was either replace the seal or buy a new washer. You can find lots of videos showing how its done on the internet. I shopped around and espares were the cheapest by far.

Why pay to have it fitted when you can do it your self,item is quality product & relatively easy to fit.My only problem was fitting the rear retaining spring which is definately a two person job.This was somewhat fudged over in your how to fit it video.

Good but takes 2 people to fit to Hotpoint WML520 21 November 2011
Fitting this to a Hotpoint WML520 was not as easy as the espares video shows because as others have mentioned the front panel of the machine cannot be removed. It is possible to replace the seal by taking the top panel off the machine to get better access but mostly the replacement is done from the front of the machine through the door opening and can be mostly done by one person except it took two of us to refit the inner retaining spring The seal fitted perfectly well and seems of good quality
