  But use plently of lubrication when putting the inner spring back on it's a real pig to get back on but fits like a glove. Espares all the way they have saved my hundreds of pounds always seem to have the part I need and it was delivered quick.

  Great service and good product. 02 July 2014

  Ordered this after seeing the youtube video of how to change the door seal and realised I could do this myself so ordered the part. Part arrived quickly and apart from my model of washer not having a removable front was pretty straight forward to fit but would have been much more difficult without the video.

  To be honest, i havent even got round to fitting this but what i can tell you is that this company goes above and beyond the call of duty for customer service. It wasn't their fault that the part went to another house (blame royal mail) but they sent a new one anyway - thanks! x

  Is a lot harder to fit than the video shows, mainly due to the front panel for my Hotpoint model does not come off. You could do with another hand to fit the inner retaining wire as it's very tight and the space is limited

  Hotpoint door seal - excellent 31 March 2014

  Excellent delivery and price. New seal was slightly different to the one taken off. I submitted a question asking why and if it was ok to fit it and this was answered next day, with a reason and the go-ahead to fit it. The seal was a perfect fit, sealed first time and the difference had no detrimental influence on its performance. The only downside was that the 'How to fit it on a Hotpoint' video was completely wrong for my Hotpoint, it showed the front being removed and the drum seal unclipping. On my model the front was welded on and the drum seal was a big spring whch just needed stretching off. However there was enough room to work with the front still fitted and the spring went on with the help from a 2nd person.

  Door seals should be easy to fit ! 18 March 2014

  Great door seal, not easy to fit on my Hotpoint, couldn't use the existing spring retainer and Espares didn't have one to fit, so I made my own The door seal was then a perfect fir, no leaks
