  After following the video it was an easy job to get the old seal off, however the front of my washing machine didn't come off as shown in the video and it was quite difficult with the restricted access to get the new seal on. Did manage it, however almost impossible to get the spring back onto the seal to hold it in place. Would have been easier to replace the spring with the detachable spring shown on the video. Frustrating and difficult fit, however the product was great and machine works fine with no leaks.

  EXCELLENT SERVICE 👌 19 February 2015

  I needed a new door seal urgent! After a quick search on the web I came across espares. They had the part in stock and available for next day delivery. The new door seal arrived as stated. In the package was a information card which had a barcode on it. I used my tablet to scan it and a video of how to fit the seal was available to watch. This made the job a lot easier ☺. I have bookmarked espares for future use and can highly recommend them 👍

  Just what the doctor ordered 06 January 2015

  First time I had ever tried to fit a door seal. The accompanying video was extremely helpful (even if it was for a different make) & I'm not certain I would have been able to complete the task without it. Very very very happy

  Challanging to fit on my model, but worth the effort! 03 January 2015

  The seal arrived (as usual with espares) in very quick time. In advance of my plan to replace the seal, I searched for info on how to actually fit the seal and found a load of videos from espares, which seemed to explain what was involved in replacing a Hotpoint washing machine door seal. Not too long after starting the job, I discovered that my specific model of Hotpoint washing machine was different from the Hotpoint in the espares video, so access to the front of the drum was not possible. This made fitting the seal quite a bit more difficult as the seal would slip off one part of the door during the fitting process. However - with a bit of patience (and quite a few swear words), I eventually got it fitted and back together again - and no spare screws left over! Despite the difficulties I had, I would still do it again - just a pity the manufacturers service instruction manual was not more readily available, with advice on how items like the door seal should be fitted!

  Arrived promptly. Fitting wasn't hard but not quite as easy as it looked on You Tube, as the front panel was fixed and could not be removed - but not too difficult.

  Good Quality Door Seal 22 August 2014

  Took a bit of fiddling to fit the door seal. Secret is lubricate the seal before fitting. But once fitted it did the job.

  Sorted out my smelly washing machine! 02 August 2014

  I bought a new door seal along with some of the espare cleaning powder sachets to try and sort the smell of my old washing machine out for good - and it worked a treat! The part and customer service from espares was exemplary, and I will definitely be using them again. The fitting of the seal was the only hard part - I followed the video instructions the espare team put together and it was very straightforward. My only challenge was that (like some of the other reviewers) the front of my washing machine was welded on so I had to fit through the door aperture and from the top. This wouldn't have been such a problem, only my inner seal clip - to fasten the seal to the drum housing - was a VERY tight spring, rather than a spring clip, so it took my husband and I a good 20 minutes of wrestling with the spring to get it back into place. So I'd recommend only installing on your own if you're pretty strong - and very patient! Otherwise I'd definitely suggest bringing a friend in to help...
