  Good product but didn't fix the problem 12 May 2013

  This is quite easy to fit. The only thing that needed some brute force was to pull and align the second bolt when the belt has been put around it. But in all it was pretty easy to remove the old one and replace with this one. This is also easier to fit if you remove the fan housing in front of it and also place the tumble dryer on it's back. That way you don't lose a bolt as you are trying to align it. Just be careful that you don't trap the power cord or damage it in any way. The only issue is that the tumble dryer is still making a really load vibrating/rumbling sound and sometimes completely refuses to spin the drum which it did before changing this so this didn't fix the problem. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is now so I think it's either the drum at fault or the motor itself. Be grateful if anyone can advise. I suppose whilst I have the machine open I can disconnect the wheel again and test the motor and the drum separately. So I have only awarded this 4 out of 5 simply because it wasn't the fix for my problem.

  Good product - straightforward to replace 14 April 2013

  I found from experience that loosely inserting the far mounting bolt first was easiest. Then loop the drive belt over the jockey with the jockey and bracket resting on the drive shaft. Finally with a bit of brute force push the front of the bracket up and hook the connecting lip (on the bracket) into the motor housing. The easier (nearest) bolt is then straightforward to insert and tighten. Don't forget to then tighten the rear bolt to finish off.

  good product same size and everything lines up ,a wee bit hard to stretch the belt onto it, had to take the c clip off ,put the belt round the wheel then stretch the wheel with the belt round it back over the spindle and replace the c clip , do not know if this is the correct way but worked for me hope this helps .

  Great option to purchase a much required part 27 February 2013

  The Jockey Wheel on my Indesit IS 70C dryer is a bad design to start of with, designed to wear in need of replacement some time after purchase. The Jockey Wheel is a requirement for operation and I'm grateful to espares for making the part available at a reasonable price for a much needed repair.

  Could do with updated video 09 July 2012

  Product was a perfect fit. Video was for a different machine though, my belt configuration was slighlty different. Still, very easy to fit. Top tip for the belt, get the jockey wheel back on and tightened up, then lever the belt on using the wire and wood tip!!

  Got me out of trouble 11 October 2011

  I thought maybe i was going to have to buy a new tumble dryer ,but having bought parts before from espares ,i thought i`d give it a shot,and hey presto . the jockey wheel was a exact match for the old one, and fitted like a charm, the quality of it was as good as the old part,which came out, so no problems at all.

  simple diy jockey wheel replacement 22 June 2011

  i had to replace this jockey on my daughters indesit dryer, a small socket set with bendy drive comes in handy it took @15mins. to complete. tip = use a long screwdiver to lever the belt back on to the new jocket simples
