  Does what it is supposed to! 11 January 2017

  What more is there to say? It is the original Sky remote control for the original type no-frills Sky boxes (ie not for the HD ones etc) and works straightaway (the number buttons on our previous remote were wearing out!). Just put in the Duracell batteries that come with it (so good quality batteries supplied as well) and you are all set to go - no "syncing" or anything else. Did not set up the control to operate the TV, so can't comment on that aspect, but no doubt would be fine as well. A very good quality product - just put in the batteries and off you go! Fast delivery too, so what more could you ask?

  TV controls can be perfect but still not do the job you wanted them to do 02 January 2013

  No problem with the product except that it doesn't do what we'd hoped, namely to combine TV control (e.g volume) with Sky control. The problem is that until you actually try it out, you can't tell exactly what the functionality is going to be. Is there some way this can be rectified for future purchasers? Meanhwile we have a perfect spare Sky Remote!
