Different from original 18 August 2010
The elbow was shorter than the original at the point it entered the housing. as a result an adequate seal was not possible. Also in order to connect the 'C' clip I had to use a hacksaw blade to cut a groove otherwise the elbow caused the 'C' clip to bend out of alignment. I did notice that the original part had also been cut in this way. I also ordered the part from BUYSPARES and had exactly the same problem.

I was approached by a neighhbour to see if I could help mend the leaking washer he had. As he is not DIY minded and I have most of teh required tools I set about stripping the machine casing off. It became apparran that this machine is not like the one in the video where the part is held on by a clip. On this machine I needed to undo 4 bolts and remove most of the washer head. The next problem was that it was stuck inside the metal casing. An over night dose in WD40 released it and after checking the required parts, they were ordered on the Tuesday morning, shame I had to wait until the saturday though but all got fitted and it seems to be working as it should now.

Ordered by email arrived in 2 days. Fitting took half an hour. tested before fitting covers back, brilliant no leaks. The part looks much stronger than the original Karcher perspex. As Arnold Shwarteneger would say "I'll be back"

Pressure washer saved from scrap-heap! 12 March 2010
What a revelation! My one year old Karcher pressure washer was broken and written off to go the dump! one search on "eSpares" and my new part was ordered for a very few pounds, the part was delivered quickly with no fuss, it was the correct part with all I needed in the packet. Perfect replacement 22 August 2009
I needed a new elbow after the original clear elbow shattered when I turned it on, resulting in me leaping 6ft in the air and requiring clean underwear. A quick google brought me here and I soon found the part. The new version looks a lot more robust than the original. Easy to fit and now my K300B is in full working order again.
