  Perfect replacement 09 November 2015

  This requires a little more stripping down than older machines and as it is a stretch belt some strength is required I also replaced drum rear bearing and pivot at the same time ( these parts failed -reason for belt renewal )

  Does the job perfectly but hard to fit on Indesit IDC85UK 15 October 2015

  Works well but you will need to partially dismantle the whole machine to get it on. I took of the front and slid the belt over the drum and then had to remove a cover inside to slide the belt over the shaft. They make it about 50mm shorter so that you have to stretch it over the shaft which is very difficult. The belt itself is fine and delivery and packaging were very good. Tip, wear protective gloves as there is lots of sharp metal edges inside the Indesit

  Replacing Tumble Drier Belt 20 August 2015

  Looked at a "how to" on the site... was quite involved needing quite a bit of dismantling to refit the new belt. Once done though, machine works as new for less cost than new! IMO, you will need to be reasonably competent to complete this task

  Given that my IS70C tumble drier did have a couple of small issues, this belt really did my drier proud. It maybe a challenge to the novice of repairers out there, this part was quite time consuming to fit. I have never repaired or done work to a idesit unit, but can safely say that I have become an expert on this model. Now she is working and ready to start drying again. Great news for me, because now I have a happy wife. If you are buying this part, my advice would be to get the belt pretensioner to with. My mistake, but the service you get from espares are second to none. Hope that helps.

  fitting this belt was trickey 10 February 2015

  Because the idler pulley had no tensioner the belt could not be fitted round the drum first.The only way we managed it was to fit the belt around the pulley first and then around the drum at the bottom and slowly lift the belt to its final position.The drum was then pulled backwards to locate into the peardrop bearing.All seemed ok on testing
