We fit and refurbish Kitchens for a living and sometimes finding the correct carbon filter for a cooker hood can be a nightmare. This product does away with all that hassle. Opening and refilling the activated charcoal filter was quickly achieved using 50% of the supply with little mess. An economic alternative to purchasing the manufactured replacement.

Getting the chips in and distributed evenly is a bit awkward but it is a cheaper alternative to the complete unit. Either use a funnel or pour the chips in slowly and carefully. Note that any chips that fall on the floor will get any available nook or cranny.

The quality of the product was fine but two packs were needed to do the job. I would have liked to have known this at the first time of ordering. Also the refilling process wasn't easy and needed the purchase of a large funnel.

I decided to refill existing filter casing rather than purchase expensive cartridge replacment. The supplied chips were identical to the original and I was able to refill to a better density than that in the original unit the filter now appears to be more effective than before first class product.

The cost of replacing a cooker hood is very expensive. With this product there is enough charcoal to fill the container and plenty to top up at least twice more. Really recommend this product, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent product, it was easy to empty old filters, check weight of charcoal in them,refill with same amount of new chips and re-install. Cooker hood now at 100% efficiency again. And it saved me a lot of money!
