  Bought these to replace the old charcoal chips in my Rangemaster cooker hood filters. Much, much cheaper than replacing both filters (about £70). Product is easy to use, it's just opening, cleaning and repacking the filters that takes time and effort. When I first bought this product years ago, the canister contained 500gm of chips that did both filters. Now that the contents have dropped to 480gm you may need to buy two to make sure you can completely fill the filters.

  Head & Shoulders above the alternative. 07 September 2017

  New filters for my cooker hood would have cost almost £40, this product was 4 times cheaper. To refill, put the filters in the dishwasher to clean off the grease. Pop of the filler port and shake the old granules out. Use a desert spoon to put the new ones in and pop the cover back on. All done in under 10 minutes for the pair so it's a NO brainer. Why pay more than you need too AND you are reusing the cases, so no plastic waste in to the environment. Only thing, you might need 2 tubs, the quantity filled only 1 and three quarters of my filters (I topped up with the old ones) next time I'll order 2.

  Excellent money saver and environment gain 27 August 2017

  Using these replacements chips was easy and saved the cost and waste of having new filters. It was about a third of the cost, so a real no-brainer! Just check that your filters can be opened before you buy.

  Bought 2 tubs thinking that I'd need them both but one was enough to fill my Philips extractor. Filling the cage was a doddle. A very cheap way to refurbish my extractor and I have a spare for the next time.

  I didn't even know replacement charcoal chips were available to buy and that my filters could be refilled until I visited this website, such an easy economic way to rejuvenate my cooker hood filters. Arrived quickly, well packaged and exactly as described. Online help available if needed. Brilliant.
